Sara Evans exploded on the country radio airwaves with the album Born to Fly in 2000. She quickly received accolades and became the most-nominated artist at the Country Music Association awards in 2001. AMT is delighted to welcome the country star to its stage!

Music was a part of Sara's life at an early age; by five she was singing every weekend in her family's band. At the age of 20 she moved to Nashville, Tennessee with dreams of becoming a country music star. Harlan Howard, a prominent country music songwriter, took Evans under his wing, which eventually led to a contract with RCA Nashville.

Since the success of Born to Fly, Sara has continued to produce hit albums including Restless and Real Fine Place. She also received the honor of "Top Female Vocalist" from the Academy of Country Music in 2006.

Sara Evans is currently working on her sixth studio album. The first single, "Desperately", is expected sometime in May 2009, with the album to be released later in the year. We hope Sara will give us a sneak peek of the new album.
