How do I buy tickets?
To purchase tickets for events at the American Music Theatre you have several options:
- Stop by the theatre box office located at 2425 Lincoln Highway East.
- Call our friendly reservations department at: (717) 397.7700 or (800) 648.4102.
- Purchase tickets on our website.

May I use a coupon when buying tickets online?
Unfortunately, at this time, we do not accept coupons for any tickets purchased online. We are in the process of upgrading our ticketing software. Hopefully in the near future, this service will be available.

Do I have to pay for my child if he can sit in my lap?
Children over 3 years of age are required to have a ticket, unless they are able to sit on your lap.

Do you have a dress code?
Please dress however you feel comfortable. Since the types of shows vary greatly, there is no dress code. Some patrons arrive dressed up for their evening at the theatre while others prefer to dress casually. We do ask that you wear shoes and a shirt!

May I take photos or record the show in any way?
The photographing and sound or video recording of any Original Productions, or the possession of any device for such photographing, sound or video recording inside the theatre without the written permission of the management, is prohibited by law.
Cameras may be brought to Celebrity Concerts and it will be announced before the show whether photography is allowed.

Do you have a lost and found?
Yes. The theatre is cleaned thoroughly after each performance. All items found by the cleaning staff or turned in to our house management staff is logged and kept in our administrative offices for 60 days. Call (717).397.7700 or (800).648.4102 to see if your lost item has been found.

If it snows, will you cancel a show?
In theatre, we live by the saying, "The show must go on." However, we are very careful when it comes to bad weather.
For celebrity concert shows - As long as the performer arrives, then the show will go on as scheduled. No shows will be cancelled based on the forecast of snow. If the weather is too bad, and a performer does not arrive, all ticket holders will be notified via phone with more information. If a show does go on and you do not show up, then those reservations have been forfeited.
For our Christmas show - No shows will be cancelled based on the forecast of snow. If the weather is too bad, and we cancel a show, all ticket holders will be notified via phone with more information. If a show does go on and you do not show up, please call the box office so that we may re-schedule your reservations. If you do not call us to re-schedule, your reservations have been forfeited.

I'm on your mailing list, why don't I receive more mail?
Because the theatre's schedule is constantly evolving, any printed materials would be quickly out of date. We keep the event list on the website up to date and we have an email newsletter to keep our audiences informed. To join our email list, click here.

Does American Music Theatre really have a hot air balloon?
Yes, we currently advertise on a hot air balloon owned by the USA Hot Air Balloon Team. The colorful balloon can be seen floating around Central PA. Click here to visit the US Hot Air Balloon Team website.

How can I print my own tickets
When you buy tickets online or via the phone, a valid email address must be provided, and a link will be emailed to you with access to your print@home tickets. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader® installed on your computer to view and print your tickets.
