Performing Groups
Imagine your school's chorus, band or dance group performing live on stage at American Music Theatre in front of an audience of hundreds of people.
Requirements:
- Group must purchase tickets to an American Music Theatre original production, such as, British Invasion, Classic Crooners or The Christmas Show, on the date group will be performing
- Group must be self contained
- Pre-recorded music must be no longer than ten minutes and must be on a CD
American Music Theatre will provide:
- Two standing microphones
- Spotlights
- Slide with group name for our video screens
- Staging Area prior to show
- Ten minutes of performance time for student groups beginning one half hour prior to American Music Theatre show time. Performance must be completed twenty minutes prior to American Music Theatre show time.
- Forty feet of available space across the American Music Theatre stage. Depth space varies depending upon the set. Call for exact dimensions.
Disclaimer:
American Music Theatre reserves the right to cancel a Student Performance group up to performance time. There may be instances, at the last minute, where American Music Theatre cast may need to utilize the stage prior to a show for rehearsals, due to illness or injuries. Should this happen, the Group Leader will be notified as soon as possible. Student group may be able to perform in the American Music Theatre lobby instead.
